A Blood Moon is a rare astronomical event where as the night progresses, the moon and sky will become progressively more red, an effect which peaks around just past midnight, and water directly exposed to the moonlight will appear as red.

According to sources, the first global occurrence of a real life blood moon happened on the night of April 14-15, 2014. [1] [2] [3]
The first occurrence of a blood moon in the St. Sky Universe happened on the night of September 27, 2015 and lasted for an entire week. The same day where it occurred in real life.
Effects[]
The effects of a Blood Moon differs between each individual. For most, one would seem more agitated and show hostility or annoyance and even bad stress when acknowledging another, compared to other days/nights. For the spiritually gifted, they may also feel an unpleasant imbalance in their chi, arcana or spiritual balance.

- The name "Blood Moon" may be based on one of the "Seven Signs of the Apocalypse" from the Bible, in which it states that ,"...on the 6th sign the moon will arise, showing the color of blood, bringing with it the demons that prowled the Earth, but were sealed away.
